The 5730 chip’s 50,000-hour lifespan applies equally to the Sky Light’s 416-chip array. Cool white at approximately 5000-6500K provides maximum contrast for security floodlighting and vehicle compound visibility at Indian housing societies, industrial facilities, and rural commercial establishments.

LiFePO4 at 25Ah provides 2,000+ cycles and stable thermal performance across India’s full temperature range. The large 25Ah capacity provides exceptional monsoon resilience for Kerala, Karnataka, and the Western Ghats: on consecutive overcast days where the 5V 30W panel achieves partial recharge, the 25Ah reserve maintains 12-16 hour Auto mode operation without full daily recharge. Auto mode manages the 25Ah reserve — 100% for 20 minutes, 70% for 4.5 hours, 30% for remaining hours — achieving the full 12-16 hour night cycle at the 210W draw.

The 30W panel’s greater output versus the City Light’s 20W panel provides better monsoon-season charging resilience for the larger 25Ah battery in high-rainfall zones. For housing society compound perimeter and factory exterior installations in Kerala, Karnataka, and the Western Ghats, the 30W panel achieves sufficient daily harvest under partial overcast to maintain 12-16 hour operation across consecutive moderate-overcast monsoon days.
Installation & Mounting
The 25W Solar Flood Light Sky Light Model 1123 installs identically to the City Light 1122 — wall bracket or pole bracket, no mains power or underground cable required. The shared 36.5 x 28.8 x 15 cm body enables the same installation hardware across both models. The 5V 30W POLY panel is installed separately at the optimal south-facing skyward position.
