The 60W shares the narrow 90° reflector optic of the 50W but adds a fifth more output, which buys you either a metre of extra mounting height or a brighter working pool at the same height. It remains a focused fixture: the polished cone drives light straight down rather than spreading it, so the illuminated area is defined and intense rather than soft and general.
It works best at 5 to 7 metres, which is the typical roof height of an engineering workshop, a service centre or a mid-sized stockroom. This is the wattage to choose when the 50W leaves work surfaces slightly under-lit but you don’t want to move to a wide-beam fixture and lose the concentration.
Die-cast aluminium housing with a finned heat sink and spun aluminium reflector, matt black outside and polished dimpled silver inside. Suspended from an eyebolt on chain or hook. 90–265V input for unstable supply, IP65 sealing for dusty and semi-open buildings. Cool, neutral and warm white.
Ideal for
Engineering and machining workshops — over lathes, drills and inspection benches
Vehicle service centres and body shops
Tailoring, printing and packing units where detail work happens on tables
Mid-sized stockrooms and utility rooms
Covered loading bays and yard canopies
Not the right choice for
Ceilings above 7 m — step to the 100W or 120W
Large open floors needing uniform coverage — the 90° beam is deliberately narrow
Spaces where glare matters, such as customer-facing retail; the specular reflector is bright to look into
Planning guide: at 5–7 m, space fixtures roughly 5–6 m apart, or budget one per 25–30 m² for general working light.
