Silicon profile lights are flexible LED strips sealed inside a protective silicone jacket. Lumencity offers a direct-mains AC format and a low-voltage DC format.

How to choose
- For kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and false ceilings, choose the 24V DC strip.
- For facades, boundary walls, terraces and long outdoor runs, choose the 220V AC strip.
- Confirm the carpenter’s groove size before ordering DC: 12×12, 15×10 or 16×16 mm.
- For an economical long outdoor run, AC avoids the cost of a separate adapter.
Installation & wiring
- AC: Cut only at marked 50 cm points. Every cut segment needs its own connector to 220V. Waterproof all outdoor joints.
- DC: Cut only at marked 1 metre points. Connect the end leads to a 24V/200W supply.
- One DC power supply can safely run up to two 10-metre strips.
- Installation involving 220V should be completed by a qualified electrician.
Warranty & care
- The silicon LED strip itself is a consumable product and is not covered under warranty.
- The 24V/200W DC power adapter has a 2-year warranty.
- Seal every outdoor connector and joint to preserve the IP65 weather protection.
- Unroll the strip fully before testing for extended periods to help heat dissipate.
