Fifteen thousand lumens at under a kilogram. To put that in context, a conventional die-cast 150W high bay runs to several kilograms, and the difference decides what you can hang it from and how long the installation takes.

This is the wattage most commercial halls actually need. At 7 to 10 metres it covers gyms, banquet halls, school assembly halls, showrooms and community centres with the same 15000 lumens and 120° spread as our UFO Pro 150W — the same light, from the same height, over the same area. The difference is the housing: 28mm of slim aluminium instead of a deep fin stack, which is why it weighs a third as much and costs considerably less.

That housing sets its working envelope. Run it up to eight to ten hours a day in a normally ventilated commercial space and it will serve for years. Run it continuously in a hot industrial roof and you are asking a light-duty fixture to do a heavy-duty job — the Pro 150W exists for exactly that case.

For a hall owner replacing old metal-halide fittings, the appeal is practical: no structural survey, no additional support steel, and a flush profile that doesn’t clutter the ceiling above a function space.

Planning guide: at 7–10 m, space fixtures roughly 8–11 m apart, or budget one per 60–75 m² for general hall lighting. Sports halls need 300–500 lux at floor level, so plan tighter spacing for courts.
