Overview
The 8W Solar Street Light Star Model is a compact, all-in-one off-grid lighting solution designed for residential colony footpaths, housing society internal lanes, garden boundary walls, farmhouse pathways, small parking areas and low-traffic rural village alleys. It comes with a powerful 5V 12W monocrystalline solar panel and a 3.2V 10Ah LiFePO4 battery, offering reliable cool white lighting for up to 10 hours under ideal solar charging conditions.
Built with a Day & Night Sensor and Radar Motion Sensor, the light operates automatically from dusk to dawn and increases brightness when motion is detected. This makes it ideal for areas where full brightness is required only when people or vehicles pass through.
LED Performance & Light Output
The 8W Star Model delivers bright cool white illumination suitable for 3-metre pole mounting. The wider light spread makes it useful for narrow roads, walkways, society gardens, internal colony roads and farmhouse boundary paths where safety lighting is required without grid wiring.
Battery – 10Ah LiFePO4 Backup
This model uses a 3.2V 10Ah LiFePO4 battery, offering better life, safety and thermal stability compared to ordinary lead-acid or low-grade lithium batteries. LiFePO4 batteries are well-suited for Indian outdoor conditions and can handle daily charging and discharging more reliably.
Solar Panel & Charging
The integrated 5V 12W monocrystalline solar panel charges the battery in approximately 6–8 hours of direct sunlight. The panel is factory-fitted, so no external wiring, trenching or grid connection is required.
Smart Sensor Operation
The built-in Day & Night Sensor automatically switches the light on at dusk and off at dawn. The Radar Sensor controls brightness based on movement, helping extend backup time while keeping the area safely illuminated when activity is detected.
Body Build & Weatherproofing
The light comes with IP64 weatherproofing, making it suitable for outdoor use in dusty and rainy conditions. Its compact body size of 42.5 × 23 × 6.3 cm makes it suitable for residential and society-grade pole installations without looking bulky.
Installation
The 8W Star Model is easy to install on a standard round pole with 50mm pole compatibility. It is best suited for approximately 3-metre installation height. Since it is an all-in-one solar street light, installation is quick and does not require electrical cabling.
