The 120W exists for the gap between 100W and 150W — spaces where the smaller fixture leaves the floor slightly dim but the larger one means paying for light you won’t use. The extra 2000 lumens over the 100W lets you either raise the mounting height by a metre or widen the spacing, which usually means fewer fixtures, less cable and less installation labour across a large floor.
It works at 6 to 8 metres and suits packing and dispatch floors, medium warehouses, production halls and larger godowns. On big installations the reflector construction earns its place: when you’re quoting forty or fifty fixtures, the cost difference against die-cast finned bodies is the difference between winning and losing the order.
