Nine RGB LEDs give it the output to light water convincingly, not faintly. Set a steady royal blue for everyday evenings, switch to color-cycle mode when guests come over, dim it right down for a late swim — all from the remote, without going near the water.
Out of the water it works just as well as a high-power color uplight for facades and courtyards, wired directly to 220V AC.
